
Fantastic Fungi needed a digital experience that felt as immersive and inspiring as the film—while also driving visitors to the shop to support the brand’s commercial goals. The challenge was to create a site that balanced storytelling, education, and e-commerce in a way that felt natural and engaging.
Our solution was an interactive, scroll-driven website that draws viewers deeper into the world of fungi—both visually and conceptually. As users explore, they journey “underground” into the mycelium network, discovering content and products along the way.
I co-led the art direction and design, crafting an organic, immersive visual system that blended film stills, bold typography, and rich textures. We built a structure that kept the shop easily accessible without sacrificing the sense of discovery—helping users feel connected to the natural world while seamlessly guiding them toward products and resources.
The result: a site that feels like an extension of the film’s magic, designed to engage, educate, and inspire—while supporting the business’s growth.
